It is now what you want the car to do for you.....

I'm holding out hope for the X3M40i. I wasn't comparing the G30 to my 435i and I really don't think you lose anything in straight line speed when you compare the two cars. I think the G30 is a disappointment compared to 5 Series of old, and steering feel is probably a big part of that. BMW still makes a great 6 cylinder though, best in the business.
