PLEASE, PLEASE don't use those. I know most of you know I am over the top on detailing, but you are swirling your car with those.

Korean Micro Fiber is the ONLY way to go:

Are they made with real bits of Koreans? I just bought some as i need new microfibers and I've seen you recommend them. I also want to see how full of shit you are
Hahaha, man the pressure is on now. I should be careful what I ask for. Definitely call my ass out of you think I'm blowing smoke!

In terms of absorbing, these really aren't meant to dry a soaking wet car. You would use a bunch. They are for spreading product or that final wipe down when there are just a few water spots. I dry my car with a EGO 765 with a stubby. I also have a Korean MF towel next to me on the passenger seat at all times to dust the piano trim.
My EGO 650 and stubby attachment are on the way. I washed this morning for the first time after the ceramic. It was awesome. I never touched the car. I'm looking forward to the EGO blower, as it should be an upgrade from the plug in I've been using.

After seeing how fast the painted panels dried vs the uncoated wheels, I'm going to look more into having the wheels coated. I'm also going to talk to the detailer about doing a layer of interior ceramic on the plastic and trim pieces.

I used Chemical Guys leather cleaner for the first time (on Dakota). It was great. Really surpassed expectations. There were a few white dots on the steering wheel that I assumed were there forever. I contemplated using a sharpie on them. The CG leather cleaner took them right off! My seats look good, but the biggest improvement was the steering wheel. Looks brand new with the appropriate matte look to it. I also used the Sonax. I liked it also.

Last thing on the ceramic - it rained like hell while I was out. After I'd washed it, I'd course. Frankly, it still looks almost just as clean! One week in, I'm really glad I did it. If anything, I wish I'd done more (wheels and glass).
Thats great news about ceramic. Im excited to get mine next week. I was hoping I could just foam the car and rinse it off 3 times a month and only hand wash it once a month.
