Fairly standard fare for a warranty company. They’ll generally decline coverage for cars with modifications or charge a lot for a rider to extend it to cover the after-market parts.

For BMW in the US, at least, it depends on the dealership how much trouble you’d have with the warranty on your car being nixed based on modifications. It is one of the reasons Dinan offers their own “wrap” warranty in case BMW gives a hard time.

A lot of people like the third party extended warranties as an independent shop is less likely to care enough to tell the warranty company about any third party modifications.

Always a bit of risk with third party mods. Legally they can’t drop the warranty without “proof that the modification is at fault”, but that sounds like a one sided fight.

I’d imagine the Dinan wrapper would protect you though. Exhaust systems are usually covered by 8Y under the Federal Emissions Warranty and in a CARB state for certain cars could go as long as 15Y.
