The saving grace with buying the M550 was that I traded in a Maserati for it that I had for a year. She hated everything about that car.

I mix it up…sometimes I tell her sometimes I don’t. But like you said, a discussion won’t change the outcome. Right after we got married I bought a E39 528i auto because my wife couldn’t drive a manual. In a year and a half she drove the car once and I was bored with it because of the transmission. So I traded it for a 528i 5MT m sport and told her she would have to learn to drive a manual. Every car purchase since has been only what I wanted. Except now it’s only automatics. She’s still with me after 28 years so you could say we have an understanding in this area.
