Then I think your wants/tastes have moved on very much from the BMW 5 Series. We will see Hybrid (eDrive) models, but not full electric yet. Keep an eye out for something to slot between the amazing i3 and i8.
As another poster suggests, Tesla Model S is really your only choice for a large electric premium saloon at the moment. But we don't see many of them, because it's severely flawed.
