I do think the depreciation rate will slow a little on pre LCI G30s. Just as a function of how far they’ve already fallen. The curve is steep the first few years of a BMW’s life. Not that it’s only BMW.
I can go get a loaded 750 M Sport that’s maybe 2-3 years old for under $60k easy. Certified. That’s about 50% depreciation. The M850’s seem similar but not quite as low. M550’s of the same age (LCI) seem to be holding better than their 7’er big brother.

Only BMWs that I guess don't depreciate like crazy are the M cars. The E92 M3 I was looking at was 75k brand new back in 2013. Seller is asking 38k. Which considering it's a competition package with 50k miles. Not a bad asking price. It'll sell quickly imo at asking price.
Market value on those ranges from 35k-65k~. Oh well I'll wait I guess
