Yes I think you have hit the nail here
The g60 I don’t think is a new 5 series, it’s a different new car that just happens to share the same name
I think the 5 series has finished now and the g60 particularly in its BEV format is an entirely new car
Whilst car sizes always seem to grow, I think the g60 is now so big that it’s now in a different segment and along with the not inconsiderable price hike that adds to that
I’d be interested in driving one but like you, I plan to hang on to my g30 m550.
I really do have this down as my final car.
