I doubt it, but having sat in a new 7 series yesterday, I think the new 5 is going to be mighty tempting. But given what I went through with my previous 535, I am very wary of the automatic.

Probably not going to happen. With the take rate of a Manual at under 15% for the U.S. BMW won't want to put one in a regular 5 series. They talked of getting rid of the manual entirely for the next gen M5. |
The f10 M5 only gets 6MT in the US I believe not in Europe, and I doubt we'll see it in the next g30.
