I installed one on the F10 535i. I wasn't as easy as I thought the first time, took like 45 minutes (of course get easier and easier after 2-3 times).

Definitely complicated on the M550 as theres no space to work on. Similar to F10 M5 i'd say. You need to take off the braces, loosen the airbox to get to the connectors. I figured it's just better to just pay someone 80 bucks to install it. |
