Yes it really is. I am in same situation, having a F11 530d xDrive with MPPK, which I really like. The torque and fuel consumption is also nice. test drove a G31 540i, nice, but I missed the torque,, there is a difference, my F11 having 600 Nm and the 540i just 450 Nm. Have to test a 540i with MPPK when it's available. |
If mpg is important to you unless you live up a mountain ditch the xdrive, better to drive without also IMHO.
My feeling is 45-50 530d and 30 ish 540 in my neck of the woods......
