I have a pretty bad back. For me the seats literally are torturous if set wrong. I’ll be in pain even during a short drive. This happens in multiple cars but somehow the g30’s make it really extreme. They’re either horrible or sublime. My f30 was not the same way. I didn’t have to put in much effort to get it comfortable.

But as the video shows, there are 3 key areas. I think of it like trying to match a dining chair.

1. Rear cushion should be pretty close to upright, 100 degrees or so
2. Bottom cushion should be raised as much as possible
3. Lumbar support should be the bare minimum to make you comfortable, and fill in the gap between your back and the seat cushion.
