i'm also on the G05 forum, and there are several posts from folks saying warranty repairs/replacements on their tires/wheels were denied due to not being OEM from factory. one guy wanted to switch from OEM 21" to OEM 20" and all the tire shops and his dealership told him they wouldn't even mount them

Gotcha. It seems there are constant posts about swapping tires and fairly regular posts about swapping wheels and never any posts about transfer cases blowing up. |
well, let me clarify I meant you may face warranty claim issues with non-factory wheels/tires. some dealerships are picky like that. (fortunately mine isn’t.)
personally, I don’t see how a switch from RFTs to same-sized non-RFTs adversely affects the transfer case. they’re the same OEM size!
