Joe /mike, this is the kit I went with. Modern Spare.
Everything comes in a bag and it fits perfect in the trunk using the tie downs.
Not sure on miles, but i'd imagine quite a lot. I think I bought mine on sale for around $425 that included the jack, spacer......everything.
