Not surprising. I almost never see non-xDrive variants of BMW's (unless M cars). Remember who BMW's core market is nowadays. Hint: Not enthusiasts. Most consumers would interpret lack of AWD as being a disadvantage and lack of value.

Well the new 3 is the new 5 and the new 5 is the new 7.
