Yes, it does. For those of us who fondly remember the E39, the F10 and the G30 are notably larger - larger and heavier in fact, than many of us want an "Ultimate Driving Machine" to be. So, we are gravitating downward to the F30, and its replacement or perhaps even the 2er. As for the reduced weight of the G30 - great, but given the whale-sized dimensions/heft of the F10, too bad they couldn't have doubled the weight loss. Otherwise, for those wanting a BMW badge on a land yacht, this should do it.
