How about differentiating the cars by giving them class leading dynamics and steering feel and unique race tech inspired drivetrains . Nah too expensive put more m badges on it , give it a CF roof and some nice seats and people will go woot woot . |

If the next M5 is to be AWD the 0-100 time should be aiming for well under 7 seconds as well as best driving dynamics.
As much as I'd like different components I'd hope the ones that are changed first reduce weight, improve handling and acceleration. A 5 series has never been a bad cabin to sit in!
