As a point of comparison I've done 12.8@108mph in a 335d remapped to 360bhp. I'd have thought this would have been quite a bit quicker than that.

The stock and heavier M550i is showing you it's much quicker than that tuned 335d......the trap speed tells us that this N63tu powered missile is going 115mph. I'd wager the M550i would put yellow school bus lengths between it's tail lights and the front grille of the 335d before hitting a mile...... |
It's showing me it's quicker, still doesn't seem that much quicker. 0.4 seconds at those speeds is about 50-60 ft ahead at a very quick bit of rough maths.
So, yes it's quicker, the absolute least I'd expect, but still feels like it should be further ahead.
