According to AutoBild (see my post above), the next gen 5-series will have carbon and other light weight components.
The M5 will be 180kg lighter, or 400lbs (396lbs)

Well that's even better! I think I'd go for awd at that point. With all this power it just barely gets it to the wheels as it is now, I can't imagine rear wheel drive with a significant increase in hp. AMG got it right, but M can do it better.
