When I saw a 2022 G30 M550iX at my local dealer in Oct. 2021, I was sold at first glance, unfortunately the car was too. I ordered the exact same car and still feel it is special every time I see and drive it.
I have looked at G60’s on my local dealer's lot several times. The same ones that have not sold in almost two months, mostly i5 M60's $92k+. The design just looks off to me and does not spark the same enthusiasm. The electric car concept does not work for me. A similarly equipped G60 530i or 540i would be almost near the cost of my M550. Like almost everything in today’s economy, pay more to get less. Not sure if I will pay upwards of a $100k+ for an M560e if it comes here.
I have owned many BMWs and the current design direction across the entire lineup and push to go electric has made me wonder what I will do when I need to replace my current car.
