Door Lock / Unlock

I have mine set to Unlock All Doors, but intermittently I find that when I stop and get out, only the driver door is unlocked and other others remain locked; other times when I open the drivers door all doors unlock. It a bit of a PITA when you want to retrieve something from the back seat and then have to use the key fob or door mounted switch....anyone else come across this???

one possibility is the setting is different for each key , ie driver profile?
Are you using different keys?

I assume like the F10, the profile can be copied from one key to the other?

Are there different unlock behavior settings for the key fob vs. opening the door from the inside?

OP, the setting you did on the iDrive is only for unlock using keyfob or comfort access.
For unlock, the car doesn't unlock any door automatically. You able to unlock the driver side since you pull the handle to get out from the car.
I believe you will be able to code it to unlock all door when you stop and turn off the engine. I can't confirmed since I didn't code it in my G30, I don't like that feature, besides I have Comfort Access.

I too like the security of deciding when my doors unlock and would not go without CA.

But, like all other series, the G030 and G012 can be coded (as in EU) to unlock with engine off.
