Wax? I hope you mean a liquid crystal or ceramic based coating. Much better than wax and takes 10% of the time to apply. Wax is so 1970.

Hand Wash = scratches and swirls, no better than going through an automatic car wash with brushes. Those cloths they use have been used over and over all day. They are rubbing everyone elses and yours dirt and salt into the paint.

The best way to try and avoid scratches and swirls when washing is using the two-bucket method and pre-soaking the car with a foam cannon BEFORE you use the wash mitt. I usually rinse the car down, soak it with car wash soap and clean the wheels while the soap agitates the dirt and stuff on the paint.

After that, I rinse the soap off and pre-soak the car again before I touch it with the wash mitt. I use the leaf blower to dry the car as best I can when I am at home. When I am at work, I try to use the air blower but often times when I am washing the car at work, the technicians are still there and they get all bitchy when I see the air blower. Yep, I know all this. I doubt his hand wash shop down the street uses the two-bucket system. Just one dirty bucket.

I ceramic coated the wheels, calipers, and trim (DLUX/Gliss), but the paint looks better with a coat of jescar power lock plus and 2 coats of Collinite 845. Typically I would do Crystal Serum Light topped with EXO v4, but wanted that "collinite shine" for a bit on the new ride.

Swapped out my fuel tank breather valve. Was getting a stutter/miss no CEL after each fill up. Guess it's pretty common with B58 BMWs. Took about 7 minutes, will see what happens on next fill up.

F winter. I can't stand snow. None of the roads were plowed. There was literally 2-3 inches of snow on the roads. I mean, where is our tax money going? I literally saw 3 snow plows just chilling on the side of the road. I mean, wtf man

One of the leather sets depending if you have light or dark leather

I actually have never used it but saw a thread in the E9x M3 forum where a Canadian couple w/a Ferrari red M3 used it. Results were very nice.

I figure you'll probably go for the Master Collection kit for $999 though. You don't skimp on car care. We'll think less of you if you do.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t care about having a nice, clean car, unlike so many people I know. To them, their car is an appliance to get them from point A to B. It gives me a headache to even guestimate how much money I have spent on detail products over the years.
