Hmmm....it looks like you placed it off the edge of the lid. Looks like you should back it up an inch or so.

You are right, that does not look like my CS spoiler. Are you sure it isn't the Pro?

I figured I installed it wrong but I am not confident it is a CS. I got it from this ebay seller that states it is a CS.

Yean, that looks somewhere between a CS and a Pro. Go over to RW Carbon and look at the CS pictures on the cars. This is what the BMW CS looks like.

I did that and notice a difference for sure, specially on the back side of the spoiler. I have contacted the eBay seller already. Lesson learned, money savings can sometimes bite you in the ass!

Yeah, sometimes we all learn the hard way. Sucks more because of all the trouble to install and even more to remove. Sorry Sam.

Just ordered from RW and therefor the Pro style is up for sale. If it does not sell I will have to do an eBay return which is a pain in the ass.

You won’t be disappointed. Hopefully you got some type of extended Black Friday deal.

Car looks great. I scanned through the 4 pages, but not sure if anyone has mentioned this before. In regards to the eraser wheel, don't let the body panel get too hot or it may remove paint, or press down too hard. I've been using these wheels for years when I had a body kit on my 2003 IS300. My personal preference is to remove the small stuff with alcohol or a compound like Meguiar M105, and the big stuff with the eraser wheel. I like to go with using the least riskiest method first to mitigate risk.

That’s pretty much what I did. I spent an hour trying to get as much adhesive off as possible with chemicals. Eventually that effort will prove fruitless.

Just to add to your cautions on the wheel, keep it moving left to right and back and forth and never hold it in one place for more than a half second. I agree, you don’t want to apply pressure to it, but you also don’t want to let it slip off the area with the adhesive onto the unaffected paint, which is hard because it’s rotating in that direction up the trunk, so hold that friggin drill tight. I got a whips from it that my detailer got out as part of a paint correction.
