Thoughts on the Lexus LC 500 Convertible?
Many, many car reviewers say this last of the ICE Lexus models, would be a great investment. I tend to agree. I cannot see how this car loses any value. It's the last of a great line, with special LCI upgrades no other LC 500 has had previously.
IMO, I think this thing is fucking sexxxxy. While it does not have the power our M550's have, the exhaust note is orgasmic.

It's easy I did mine when I cleaned them. Get yourself a stiff smallish rectangular brush (not oval or similar shape) around the width of the stripe you want, vac the carpets clean and spray a little capet shampoo to give them a clean.

Once they are clean and still slightly damp, brush the pile in one direction with said brush, then rotate the mat and drag the brush down in the opposite direction to the pile on a hit & miss basis. Hey presto stripes in the carpet.

Takes a bit of practice but works. Also works on dry carpet but not so effective, although good to practice on once it's vacced. I tried it out first with a kitchen nailbrush, the ones that are rectangular with a wood top as they are firly stiff.

So a blast from the past earlier, it seems after having been of the road for a number of years my old e34 M5 has been resurrected.
The wheels, rear lights, front indicators are different & it appears to have found it’s M5 boot badge but from the pics I was very kindly sent it the bodywork looks in great condition, but I think the engine bays showing the miles & its age

Has made me all misty eyed…oh to be 26 & back in the nineties again..that back seat saw more arse than a toilet seat

No, sold it to a dealer, this was 2001, the E39 M5 was current & nobody wanted E34 M5’s especially the 3.6 & it’d done over 125, 000 miles, think I let it go for around £8,000 ($9,600).
I sold it because I’d got caught speeding by a mobile police speed camera van (these had only recently come about back then) doing 114mph & then again 40 minute later going back down the road at 128mph (my local stretch of dual carriageway) & was due in Court December 2001 & I was fully expecting to get a driving ban.

The current owner is talking about selling it, mentioned £18,000 ($22,400) I just know it’ll be a money pit getting to how I’d want it.
Also it was of the road for so long & all the history is now missing & quick look at its current mot shows me it’s now showing a recorded 89,300 miles & the lower front wing mounting point is corroded, I suspect that won’t be the only place & from the pics it looks as though there could be an issue with the self levelling rear suspension, maybe if it were around £5,000

I pleaded guilty, apologised & told the Judge that I’d sold the car, she gave me a large fine & six penalty points. I was a lucky boy, over 100mph is usually a driving ban & getting caught twice within an hour….well I was expecting the worst

I think it is well documented how much disdain I have for fake ///M badges, posers and tri-colored grills.

I was walking around an outdoor mall in my neck of the woods yesterday and I passed a G30 530i Luxury Line and they had an ///M badge stuck on the trunk before the 530i, M550 fender ///M badges and Tri-color grill. It was like a hat trick. There was an older chick driving it and a dude getting in or I would have snapped some pictures.
