Link to build of 545e

If I have an order number for my new build, is there a link I can use to input this order number so I can view the progress of my build? Thanks

You need to log into MyBWM on the BMW website. Then in My Garage you can enter your production number. Have you read the sticky topic "BIMMERPOST Guide to Ordering and Tracking your BMW G30 5 Series". It has lots of good info, some part are a little outdated, but it is still good.

Yea went to that thread but as far as I can see that is for cars ordered in the USA. What if you are in Europe? Or in my case Ireland.

Have you tried to login to the myBMW on the Ireland BMW site? If there is no "My Garage" there I would contact you dealer BMW Genius and ask them.

There’s no tracking in the EU as in US. You need to call your sales person to check the status of your order/car.

Ah well, suppose I'm gonna have to trust my sales person so. He says week of Sept 20th but I have my suspicions. Watching that production progress was going to be half the fun of ordering a new car.

Ah well it had to happen. Was getting excited about my new 545e arriving last week in September. Had to go on the BMW.co.uk to check the status of my order with the BMW online genius after giving them my order number. I had a feeling my dealer was telling me porky pies about September delivery.

BMW genius told me that my delivery has now been knocked out to the last week in November. After reading loads of posts on this forum about chip shortages affecting deliveries, I am wondering has anyone taken delivery of their new cars with everything they ordered recently? I ordered this car at the end of May, so am being told a full six months awaiting delivery. Anybody else dissatisfied with whats going on at BMW?

Welcome to the current market.

You can be upset with BMW delays, but where are you going to go and not hit delays? Many manufacturers are still shutting down factories entirely due to part shortages. BMW seems to be aiming to keep their humming with deletions instead, but there isn’t any easy answers.

In this market I think you just have to buckle up as the fasten seatbelt light is on and the pilot has warned we’re hitting turbulence.

At least you can order one. That puts you way up on us losers in the USA.

Just had my 545e delivered......oooh it's a beauty. Getting it ceramic coated today with photos to follow. OOOOh I'm like a child on Christmas morning.
