It was like a hat trick. There was an older chick driving it and a dude getting in or I would have snapped some pictures.

Drove behind one of the new Land Rover Defenders today. It was the 130 model, whatever that means. Lots of bulges, massive air intake at roof level climbing up the A pillar, roof racks, and this thing sticking out the right rear side near one of the windows. Overall, i'd say it has a nice ass.
Did not get to see the front, but very masculine.
Looks like one heavy mofo though.

Wife and I test drove a random X7 M50 at a Carmax today. Only one in town and we’d been waiting on one to show up locally to test out. It was actually a great spec, in great shape, with really low miles (20k miles on a 2020 model) but they’re asking a terribly high price. And I ain’t buying a non CPO, out of warranty V8 BMW from Carmax.

But it was a beast. She fell in love immediately. I’d compare it to when I finally tested an M550 while I had my 540. It’s a whole other animal and she loved it. So I think I’ll likely have two N63 BMW’s in the garage sooner than later. Just a matter of when the right one shows up. It also had a great exhaust note.

Sounds like she’d get along well with my wife.

Why are there always 100 cars out there that you want until you actually want to buy a car and then there’s like 3 that you maybe could buy?

Wife wants an X7 M50. She wants on the V8 train. I’m not in the businesses of declining those kinds of requests. That’s like saying no to some good loving. You can’t take the money with you. Sex and horsepower. Both undefeated.

So the Local Council for my area has issued a Public Space Protection Order (copied & pasted below) which includes my favourite 2.5 mile stretch of dual carriageway guess I won’t be using Sport Plus along there anytime soon…it’s getting so a man can’t have any fun nowadays…Bloody cameras & decibel meters

Any motorist found causing a nuisance now faces being fined £100 and taken to court.
We are working with Kent Police to enforce a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO)

We held a public consultation between February and May last year (2023) to ask the public for their views on a PSPO and the vast majority of residents were in support of implementing a PSPO.

This followed regular reports from residents affected by nuisance vehicles, such as motorcycles, motorbikes & quad bikes being ridden anti-socially, car meets and cruising as well as noisy exhausts & motorists playing loud music.

The restrictions of the PSPO include, but are not limited to:
• driving in convoy
• racing
• performing stunts
• sounding horns (to cause a public nuisance)
• revving engines
• wheel spins
• playing music (to cause a public nuisance)
• Loud exhausts
• engaging in car cruising.

Our community safety officers and the police will be carrying out joint patrols at all times of the day as a deterrent in areas known to have ongoing issues with nuisance vehicles. Anyone found ignoring the PSPO will be fined.
Rapid deployment cameras & decibel meters are in place across a number of locations to act as a deterrent and also to provide evidence to take action against offenders. Special constables, along with our Front Line Services team members, have been trained to issue the fix penalty notices if they see a breach.
