Air Conditioning Strength
Hi,
Just got my new 530e and loving it so far apart from one thing which puzzles me (as a long time Audi owner): the "Auto" of the aircon does not seem to adjust the strength of the airflow. The largest the temperature difference between the setting and actual temperature, the stronger the blower should be, no ? |

There is another thread on this but in essence the fan speed dial determines the maximum air flow. So with the temp set to auto the maximum airflow is still manually defined by this fan speed setting. If you set it to say 5 it doesn't mean that it will necessarily blow at that rate but that's the most it can blow at if it needs to suggest you set it to say 4 or 5 particularly if I'm warmer climates and see how that goes.

Thanks for the quick reply - will try again tomorrow (getting really hot here in Tokyo). Couldn't find the other thread after using the "search function" - sorry.
