New to me 2023 M550

Since there isn't a new member section, suppose this goes here. lol

Just picked up a 2023 Alvite Grey Metallic M550 over the weekend. Test drove it a couple of times and loved the power delivery, how comfortable the seats are and the color of this car. I've always liked unusual colors and this fit the bill the way it changes from grey to brown with gold flake depending what angle you look at it.

It's still at the dealership getting some things done but here are some dealership photos.

LOVE that color in the LCI with the darker headlights and black grille, esp with those wheels too. Congrats!

Congrats and welcome! NGT2 is probably the only other active member here with that color (although it was called something else for his model year I believe). It is lovely! Tell us a bit more about the car...miles, packages, etc.

Hey all. Like some of you said the color is just amazing in person.
I'm on travel right now so it's at the dealership until I get back next week. I've only driven it like 5 or 10 miles but good lord does this car move. I also enjoy how deep the V8 snarl is. Definitely surprised me as I've heard other bmw V8s and they don't sound close.

I had to look up the packages on My Garage and attached the screen shot.

Once I get back I'm going to send it to get detailed and covered in PPF. Paint is just too pretty not to protect it.

Yeh I’ve seen a couple of reviews that suggest the m550 sounds just that little bit “better” than the m5

Nice thing to come back to that’s for sure

NGT2 it is crazy how different this color looks in different lighting. I would not have guessed this was Champagne Quartz..

Oh yeah, it’s fantastic. I’m really glad I stumbled into it. And you don’t see it a lot on the G30. I’ve yet to see another one in person, though I think there’s an older M3 or two buzzing around here in it.
