We are having another switch round of cars in the family and Im looking at taking a stock 540. Currently there are no other 540's on route to Dubai with confirmed delivery dates. This is the last of a batch they received about 6 weeks ago.

Would value input on the spec particularly anything glaring missing. I'm aware of 3D camera and wireless charging missing due to supply issues months ago.

I know many complain that ventilated seats aren't that great but that would be a must for Dubai. It's interesting that bmw considers driving in Dubai to be pretty hard on vehicle when they want 12k km fixed service interval.

I have ventilated seats on my X7 and rarely switch them on, for me as long as the AC is sound I can manage. Although I do prefer the look of the ventilated seats. The weather and air quality here is brutal for pretty much 6 months hence the servicing regime. Servicing and maintenance is also completely free here for 5 years except tyres (unless you lease)

~7500miles is much more quickly than the US. Considering BMW will cover it 1K miles early. That’s around every 6500 miles on BMW dime.

US is 10K miles by comparison.

I generally find if I've cooled my vehicle down enough it's never an issue.

Another opportunity presented itself from a cancelled order, which I have grabbed.

Exact same options less soft close doors in Bluestone with Cognac Dekota. Soft close is nice but not a deal breaker for me in the current climate.

Currently in Jabel Ali docks (Dubai) I can take delivery any day from June 20.

It doesn't seem fully stock as you were interested in. It has the M sport pack, adaptive dampers, and laser-lights. If you are okay with the price of the vehicle, it is better than what you were looking for previously. Good to see that you found something that suited you though!

It's the same spec as the original minus soft close …. It's a more recent build (the shipping times tend to be long to here plus the time they sit in stock) and I'm mainly happier with the colour and trim.
