Any new standard features on 2019 530i xdrive compared to same model 2017

Can anyone give any insight on any new standard features on a 2019 530i xdrive compared to a 2017 530i xdrive. I am inquiring for my dad who's lease is soon to be up and there is a pretty good deal on a same model 2019. Both, I would say are pretty base models without many upgrades. He was planning on just buying his current vehicle at the end of his lease because he likes it and has very low milage, like 15k miles after 3 years. The vin for the 2019, which is a demo with approx 3.7k miles on it is WBAJA7C57KG910334.

I'd imagine it all comes down to options there are in the car. Is there anything specific that you're looking for?

Like most of BMW most the features are usually extra add-on's but the '19 MY compared to the '17 actually added around 3K worth of features: Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, daytime pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert. Based on the VIN it seems like this model comes also equipped with Convenience Pkg and Premium Pkg 2 which would have add on non-standard packages.

Im afraid the adaptive cruise control is not standard, as I don't have it. Everything else is pretty spot on though.

Im inquiring for my dad, but really just wondered what is now standard (2019) which once wasn't (2017), safety features and the like. He's trying to determine whether to buy his current 530i at the end of lease or lease a new one.

I would consult the ordering guide and see what it says for MY2017 and MY2019. That's the only definitive way. As BMW has shifted the packages and standard equipment around every year since 2017. I looked at these differences when ordering my MY2020 to get a better idea of what's what.
