I use this probably 3-4 times a year and mainly on the driver’s seat because the other seats don’t get used as often. I’ve used another cleaner/conditioner, not Chemical Guys but a well known brand I can’t remember right now, that requires it to stay on for a few hours before wiping off. It works well but I don’t like the wait time so it doesn’t get used much.

This was the video that convinced me to try SwissVax. The M3 used is identical color spec and leather condition to my old E90 M3 so I knew what to expect.

I’m a sucker for detailing recommendations from trusted sources. I’m going to order some of this. I have more detailing supplies than Advanced Auto in my garage!

I’m too lazy to consider myself a diy detailer so the shop in the video is a better source than I am.

Yeah, but you like it. I'll give it a shot. I really don't put anything on the seats other than Duragloss dressing and that is really not a leather treatment, it is, well, a dressing. So I'll scrub it with P&S and give this a go. I'll try the Milk Conditioner. P&S cleans fine.

I got the leather care kit to start with and have reordered the larger cleaner spray bottle a couple times.

Leatherique cleaning/conditioning kit is the other product I have. It seemed to work well but takes a fair amount more effort than SwissVax, which is spray, brush, wipe and go as shown in the video.

I have used Leatherique, many years ago to revive the leather in my E32 740i. Outstanding stuff, but you are right, takes a lot of effort and multiple steps. Great for an older car where you are trying to inject some life into the seats.

Yes! It's the little details that make our build individual and unique.

That carbon one is very nice!

And I was confused looking at Jeet’s pictures. Does one need to remove the entire filler assembly to replace the fuel cap?
You don't need to replace the filler assembly to put on the fuel cap cover - the cap cover just sticks on top.

I fitted a new filler assembly as i could no longer open the filler door. It was stuck shut.

I just fitted the golden wrench cap while I was doing the work in that area
