Terminology help
I am looking to install an envelope type net in the trunk of my car.
I see 2 black (push in plastic rivets ?) These are located inside the trunk just above the brake lights (but inside the trunk) They hold the cover panels in place. 1. What are they called? I'm trying to find a replacement with a steel loop. My infiniti Had them and I have the Net that hangs in that space. Any ideas on how to remove these without damaging them? I have a trim removal tool just not sure if it twists or just pops out. |

I can't give you a direct answer, but you can probably find it here: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/
I've found this site very helpful for mods, repairs, electrical work, etc. |

Before digging around on the TIS website...I would recommend looking up the part and part number) on one of the online part database sites. It would probably also help with how to remove it because the part database site will probably reveal what type of hardware it is.

I would recommend looking the part up on one of the online part databases before the TIS website. The part database site should reveal what type of hardware it is.
In case you're not familiar with any online part date sites...here's two of my favs...just enter the last 7 digits of your VIN...and the diagrams will be specific to your car and its options...if you select generically...it may include additional info that you may need to look closer to deselect for your application:
