This looks fantastic, I like the front-end better than the 7. The shape of the headlights on the 7 are disgusting, they do not flow well with the kidneys.

Cheers!

Pic before, after, then animated gif to show the transformation, then put in a nicer landscape

(sorry had to put some watermarks on the renders so others can't take credit for the work)

You are missing some hood lines. If you look at the prototype you will see some longitudinal lines in the hood which run longitudinally down the hood (as opposed to the current lines which converge at the roundel).

That mid-car accent line/sport cutout looks really deep and aggressive. And I like it.

i dont know why bmw is struggling in designing cars

look at the e92 3 series or e60 5 series or the e65 7 series they were head turners when they launch them but know they are out of the comptetion with mercedes and audi

even the interior in the f30 is cheaper and poor quality not like previous models cars

Whats wrong bmw ??? i am starting to hate my f80 m3 and thinking of changing to mercedes AMG GT or the new coming e class

So you've already driven both of them? FYI the E63 recently beat the F10 M5 on Motor Trend's head2head, and the last F10 I drove had no sense of driving pleasure whatsoever - it felt a lot more like an E class than you'd be inclined to accept.

I'm rooting for the new 5er but I'm hoping it feels more like the E60 and less like the F30/F10.

Yep, I agree- I owned an E61 and a couple of F11s and the E61 was the best driver of the three

However, I've also owned MBs and they were like barges in comparison. Overall handling and driver appeal were never MBs priorities - other than in the true AMG cars - and I can't imagine they will have changed their focus that much in the latest E class. Comfy as sofas and tomorrow's cabs...

I've had very high resolution spy pics to work with and IMO the hood design of the g30 looks simple with only 2 character lines running from the edge of the A pillar towards the kidney grill

Great job on the render, and l guess it's pretty close judging what Scott said.

A couple of tweaks for the 3/4 view with a more realistic side character lines and shadows...

I also forgot the sharkfin antenna on the profile view.

I'll now be working on a rear view to complete this project...

It's not a bad looking car by any means but I really don't like/understand this trend of connecting the headlights to the grill. I'm very nervous to see what the 2018 6 series will look like. Maybe by then I will have given into the madness and learned to like the new "alien car" look.

preliminary rendering work on rear... Could't help to fill these wheel gaps with a bigger tire wheels combo .

I'd say it's a mix between a 3 series and a 7 series...
