I think they waited until carwow were able to line up their BMW dealer pricing.

Matt's verdict: buy it. It's the best car BMW make.

I am pretty sure you can get this car equipped with a spare, so the truck floor mat should lift up. WTF?

If you take the option of a spare, you get a higher "false" floor.

Every single car review this guy does is set in some dark forest with cloudy skies and rain.

Truthfully the new 5 series just has not blown me away. Could be that I drove a 540i as opposed to the M550i coming up but still... I wrote a review when I first drove it but looking back now it really wasn't all that spectacular.

This is the first 2017 5 series that I have seen without the "angel eye" headlights or ICON. What do you guys think about the standard headlights?

Seems this one has angel eyes though. What video did you watch?

Very funny when YouTube videos aren't played on YouTube.. lots of pointless pointing all over the place. Hahahaha

Pretty good review though. Can anyone say if diesel iterations coming stateside??

Why does the F10 boot seem larger than this one?

I understand that, but his reviews are always in the same exact setting. He never takes the cars to any other locations. I'm sure during the summer months you get sun, maybe he only likes doing reviews during the rainy months? Lol

I lucked out when I was there. It was November and a bit chilly, but there was sun during my entire visit. It's truly one of the world's greatest cities.

The ones on right are the ICON. The ones on the left are in his video, which I have only seen in pictures. They come standard and are not ICON.

I doubt he plans to do all reviews when it's overcast, although having said that it might make filming easier??

The reason they all look the same is that they are all filmed at Millbrook as someone else has mentioned.

Milbrook proving ground is a test centre here in the UK, it's used for manufacturers to test their cars, but also has a closed 'hill route' which looks like British roads. People like Carwow use it, as do top gear, and I'm pretty sure the scene where JB totals that beautiful DBS in Casino Royale was filmed there too.
The point is that the location offers consistency without needing to close roads, or get permissions etc which you'd need to on other public roads, and also you can return to the same filming positions etc etc.

Sorry if elsewhere but quick search did not find.
Not in the configurator, but are these headlights available as stand-alone at the dealer? Really don't need the Sirius Radio, Wireless Charging (not for iPhone), or Wifi, and already added the Comfort Access, so not really wanting to add the extra $1,300 for full Premium pkg. to get them...
Thanks.

It's the standard headlights.

Uh... I meant ICON... nvm. I assume the standard ones illuminate the road in the dark, right?

I hope they are as I got the standard lights, which aren't bad, but they are not as cool as the ICONs.
