Need help on searching for a car
Thinkin about buying a 2019 or 2020 540i. I want to rock the b58 but haven’t heard much hype about the 540i don’t know if it’s as reliable and can push as much power. any thoughts or suggestions?

B58 is great. Super smooth and has a lot of power. The things people like most about it are it is very tunable and very reliable. I had a 2018 540 and then got a 2020 M550. But I loved the 540 and so do many on this forum. Good luck

Cracking car. Had a 2017 540 , absolutely brilliant in every way.
Powerful, extremely smooth and surprisingly frugal if you’re in that frame of mind. I’d suggest one with many options as that will be the iceing on the cake One of if not BMWs best engines |

I have a 2019 540i M Sport...just an awesome car. Highly recommended. Mine has been very reliable with normal maintenance - oil changes, brakes, tires, filters, etc. I've had a Dinan tune on it for 4 years, which added ~40 bhp and ~40 ft-lbs of torque.
