Veepeak odb
Hey guys,
I just received my VEEPEAK OBD this morning I have a BMW 530E 2021 and I'm locked out of the lighting module for some reason on Bimmercode app is there any solution for this?. Wanted to know before I purchased the Bimmercode app. I only got it to add red to the ambient lighting of the car. Thank you. |

Bimmercode doesn't work until you've paid for it. So if you haven't paid yet, then no, you won't have access to any modules.
To be sure you can do what you want, simply go to the SUPPORTED CODING link on their website and select your model/model year. You will get an alphabetical list of all the coding parameters for your model, if you click on the topic, it will show all the things you can do and what module they are located. Here's a direct link to the G30 5 series supported coding: https://bimmercode.app/cars/g30/ If you click on AMBIENT LIGHTING...it not only lists the colors you can select but also has a link that reveals WHICH dongle you'll need...the Veepeak OBD is NOT listed for this capability. See the link (in the screen shot below) under REQUIREMENTS...it takes you to the dongles that allow you to change the ambient light colors:
