So with xDrive and M sport package, the E43 is still about 10.000,- more than the 540i xDrive.

Are we looking at the same place?
http://www.bmw.de/vc/ncc/xhtml/start...2#MODEL_ENGINE 540i xDrive 62 750. Add 5500 for M package and you are at 68 250 to start with. |

They made a mess with the prices. 62750 is with a "mandatory standard" equipment. You cannot order it without professional navigation, but you have to pay 2500 for it...

Maybe its the color and the ugly wheels that is throwing me off. This setup here makes the car lose some of its premium appeal and looks too tuner-ish/cheap.
I think in a darker color so the CF and black trims don't stand out too much with some 21" HRE's would make this platform awesome. Just like how remmib's car looks Alan

In those pics I can see the rear CF spoiler better, and as I feared, it's looks tiny. The M Performance CF spoiler I got on my F10 looks much better.

It's trying too hard to appeal to the "Because racecar!" bozos out there.

So, is this going to be like other BMWs were you have to order all the M performance parts seperately, or is there going to a package when configuring a car to be able to make it look like this? Buying all these options seperately and having them retrofit onto your car could become a costly process that will land the cars price to E43 AMG territory, leaving a debate of whether it is actually worth it in the end to buy all these addons if they arent bundled in a package available when ordering.

I really hope they put this much love and attention in the next M5 cause the current one had very bland M performance options...but damn the new 5 series is decked out in it.

While I do like certain parts of this, for the most part I am very glad I went with a heavily discounted F10 over a first year G30. Hopefully in 3 years the kinks will be worked out and there will be a strong market of g30 aftermarket parts. Those kidney grills are so thick, really distracting

The car itself looks good, still have that 5er's class and elegance feel.
But i think the Mperformace department fvcked it up It looks like a college kid who end up with 5series and trying make it into a sporty 4series. |
