Too long till December!

One thing this drivetrain is begging for is a 2 door chassis that is 300 KG lighter. Here's my wish for the next 6er.

I can't wait to get behind the wheel of this beast and the sound is just fine by me.

Yes yes. Heart thumping sound. Until I unplug the ridiculous active sound bs for the 4th time and cut the damn mufflers off on this one too. Then my heart will beat without an irregularity. Ah yes, our professional driver loves the sound and therefore you as the ignorant consumer should agree with us! Blow it out your ass :

Still really excited to get this thing though

I think BMW nailed everything and tick all the boxes for many driver's out there while delivering a vehicle that can be driven in all kind of conditions.

Looks like a lot of fun, I am excited to get behind the wheel of the new M5.

I am almost convinced that the new M3 will get a similar approach.

Exciting times are coming.

no way man.. " they've lost their way... "

really enjoyed this video and the philosophy lesson along with it. Very neat to see a great driver explore the different driving modes.
I would definitely be interested in what his lap times were in different modes.

I love how you assume customers are so ignorant that they lap up things so easily. Very condescending.

I have heard the car in real life from the outside and the noise it makes is just fine and it even reminded me of my E39. With Turbos and greater sound insulation; sounds will be muffled and that is inevitable. Frankly, who cares if they enhance the sound to bring some of it back then so be it provided it comes from the original engine.

The most important thing is that the car drives they way it ought and judging by the looks on Timo's face, there genuine joy.

Why there isnt rear wheel steering in the M5, if there is on lesser models? Is rear wheel steering different than rear axle steering?

Also i dont think the sound is any different than the F10..Maybe louder?

And shouldn't timo as a racing driver participate and give inputs on the development of the car? Seems like its his first drive on it.

Is it me or does it sound different than the f10?

I'm aware that the active sound sounds different but seems like it also sounds different from outside.

Since I've owned two f10 m5's and now my x6m with pretty much the same engine, I can express my opinion lol. I absolutely hate active sound and all my other friends with the same cars have also hated it and removed that nonsense. How on earth is this condescending towards you? Im simply stating that bmw thinks we are all nuts to want this crap. If you want it then by all means enjoy it. As for me and pretty much every other M5/M6 owner we cannot get over how stupid it is.
