My PS4S ZP’s go on tomorrow. I’ll let y’all know how much difference I feel.
Again, I’d have gone with the AS iteration if they made the right size in the 19”. But they don’t, so why not try something different?

My 2023 M550i has OEM 20” NRF Summer Max Performance tires. I’ve had RF tires on another vehicle and just despised the ride and noise of the tires. For me I’m always going NRF.
For AS NRF, I really like the Continental DWS 06 Plus. I have these tires on my 2018 SUV daily driver. I live in and area with all 4 seasons, including snow and these tires perform very well. My M550i has the Bridgestone Potenza S007. I have mixed feelings in this tire based on personal experience and reviews. For my personal experience, this is a wonderful tire for ride, low noise and grip. Reviews, on the other hand, reveal a troublesome issue with tire damage due to terrible road condition (potholes or road deteriotion) or extreme cornering sidewall damage. When I need to replace the tires in the future, I’ll look closely at Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S which has excellent reviews. |

I got my PS4 ZP (runflat) tires put on yesterday. Haven’t been able to drive much on them yet. But they look good on there! Haha

I saw some of you throwing around "Goodyear."
Are people still buying Goodyear tires for high performance cars? I swear I haven't heard their name mentioned when discussing tires of any kind. I know they're still a big name brand, but so was Firestone. I mostly hear Michelin and Continental and Pirelli when it comes to performance car tires. Was shocked to see Goodyear mentioned. They were factory optioned on our E400 Cabriolet but that's the only time I've seen them on a German performance car, especialyl from factory. |

Good Years were the OEM runflat tire on my F10. They sucked in every way, beginning with flats, bubbles and failures.

Currently have Goodyear F1 asymmetric 3 RF factory tires on my M550i front and Michelin Pilot Sport 3 ZP on the rear. I've been longingly eyeing Contis as a replacement but boy am I going to have to wait. The Goodyears start at 10/32nd and Michelin start at 9/32nd new, and after putting 16k miles on them I'm still at 8/32nd on the Goodyear and 7/32nd on the Michelin... They have both been wearing amazingly well for high performance summer tires. Handling has been alright and they have survived a few rough bumps/potholes. So far so good.

Yeah I was referring to the comment above about Goodyears. That said, I can't see myself buying anything other than Contis, although I am getting tempted to try Vredestein (excellent ratings and reviews).

I had Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R tires on my GT500. Performance was spot on to the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, but wore faster. Also, the cost was about 25% less than the Michelin PSC2. Good bang for the buck!
