As I feared when they announced this, I'm glad they made another one but it wasn't the same feeling as the originals 15 years ago. I do think the G30 looks amazing and its on my list to buy for sure but the film added nothing to that decision.

The film did leave me thinking, whatever amount of money was in that envelope it was probably not enough to fix the damage of the BMW alone. Clive is going to need to call his insurance company again.

I'm going to guess like 20 grand in $100 bills tops...

Like the movie,..like the theme! Did not like the sewing-machine sound of the engine! It needs to growl with authority! MHO!!

Edit: The engine did sound "boss" when he was racing the engine under the overpass! Also,..that tug-of-war battle with the chopper was boss too! Loved it!

This was cool! Ps. This was shot in Hamilton Ontario. Just 30 mins outside of Toronto. I recognized some roads and buildings. I live close to there and remember them filming.

The car's shape looks great in the film but they didn't show off the car's performance enough. The engine sound is meh, could be any turbo engine. I don't see the car making a reversing 180 turn with an automatic, probably why they split that scene into two shots. That part was uber lame...

J turns with a automatic are no problem.
Did a bunch of them at BMW school a while ago in a auto 335i. (under instruction)

J turns with a automatic are no problem.

How do you put it into drive without touching the brakes?

car porn at its best. We need more of this BMW but now with M cars please! I didn't like the 5 series before this but now I just need one so bad. they should do this with every M car they release, much better than paying for product placement in mission impossible.
btw, please never change the actor, he's the best for this role given the cool factor and history!

Pounds makes this worse. Highest denomination being £50 note so max +/- $12,250 USD?

Maybe it's 200x €500 notes making it +/- $110,500 USD but that would be a little odd since the BMW has an Illinois licences plate
