I haven't heard anything, but have an order for November delivery. Just wondering if possibly the cubby storage to the left of the steering wheel was changed? a/c issues improved? etc.

my car was ordered on August 18th, built in the 3rd week of September, which ended on the 22nd. it's still on a boat somewhere. at this rate i wont take delivery until November, and i live on the east coast.

I think it might be too soon to see production line changes. I suspect any software related issues will be updated through the dealer. We can only hope that they corrected these issues before our cars arrived -- but I don't think it's gonna happen.

I can confirm that the cubby remains as is (meaning no lining). I haven't experienced any A/C issues but it certainly hasn't been warm enough here to recreate the conditions where most have experienced the problem.

got a call form my dealer today, my 540ix will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, October 24th. it arrived at the New Jersey port on October 20th, exactly 9 weeks after i ordered it. which is odd because most people here seem to have got their cars a lot sooner.
