Bmw knows how paranoid owners are of people parking next to their cars. I sense that this app will get a lot more usage with this feature

So it stitches together a 3D view based on the surround cameras, and overlays what I assume is a default picture of your 5 series.
Does the color match your car? Can coders swap it out for an M5? |

No, you need Parking Assistant Plus.

I was wondering about this as well. I don't like the generic graphic in the perspective view though, BMW could've and should've done better.

Just wanted to chime with a fact about this system that I haven't really seen mentioned. BMW Connected limits the number of times you can refresh the Remote 3D view image to protect the cars battery.
You can only refresh the image 3 times every 2 hours. It isn't a live view that's constantly updating. Still useful, but don't get too excited about the idea of monitoring your car 24/7. |

That being said, I think this would come in really handy when you leave your car with a valet lol |

Anyone else found this a bit unreliable ? I would say it's probably worked when I have tried 20% of the time.
Good when it works though. |

How do you get this to work? I ticked off the Remote 3D view in the privacy section. I still don't see it from the app. Does it take a few hours for the option to become available? I'm on android, BMW Connected App (not the old Remote app)
