I’ve spent more on stuff from my university than my wife and kids combined from theirs. But D1 sports aren’t as big where they attended.

Clemson, Vandy, Loyola Marymount and American. You can probably guess where the majority is from.

Cheers
The AC spoiler was their when I bought the G31 but that along with the bumper & foglight/vent trims had a lot of ‘road rash’ so had them repainted, the new ACS splitter is in the black factory PU finish, didn’t think getting it painted gloss black was a good idea. The G31 is now wearing the complete ACS aero kit

what are your thoughts guys on these body parts which one you think would look better (carbon fibre vs glossy black). I personally used to think CF looks better but now I observe many put glossy black and I think it looks good too. Also does the car colour play any role in deciding? |

Know why a gun is better than a wife? If you trade your .45 in for two .22's it doesn't care.

Good friend of mine is an Ole Miss fan, his son and daughter-in-law are grads from a few years ago. I needled him about Lane waiting for the call from T-town when Saban retired. He was relieved it didn't happen. Will have to join him for tailgating at (on?) The Grove some day. Sounds like fun.

What you’re looking for is “tailgating IN The Grove”. And you should do it. It’s a sight to see, for sure. My family has season tickets and I make about 2-3 games per year.

Attempted to polish my piano trim to remove some minor scratches using a mini polisher and scratchx but did not get good results. Used a microfiber pad and wondering if I should have gone with a more aggressive pad. Has anyone done this with better results? I have some compounds from CG V line but I'm a little afraid to try them.

It looks really good with the Ivory White interior but it does seem to pick up dust and scratches easily. If I had the car brand new it would have been in much better condition as I baby my cars but unfortunately not many do.

If I ever go we’ll have to connect. Joe and I are already going to connect when I get to north of Boston.

I find that trim/leather with high contrast work well together. Like your ivory white and piano black or my mocha nappa and aluminum rhombical. Is there a PPF for piano black trim that doesn’t distort the look?

I wondered about that too and feel like there has to be. Once I get it in better shape I may look into doing that. I also read that replacing the center console piano trim does not cost very much, so that's an option as well down the road.

Let us know what you find. It seems like everyone says piano black is gorgeous (because it is), but the maintenance is a PITA. My favorite trim in a BMW was the carbon textured leather in my E90 M3 and the black ash glossy in my F30. Right, both 3ers and they had very cool trim. Not 5’s or 7’s. Go figure.

If I keep mine long enough, I’ll eventually replace that console trim. For the other, you can buff it out or have a detailer do it. Then you can do an interior ceramic coating that would give some protection. My guy said on a light touch area it lasts maybe 9 months or so. Less on a high touch area. I have considered it but scratches really don’t show up on my gloss wood trim. To the point I will sometimes just dry dust it with a clean microfiber I keep in the glove box. I don’t go crazy with it but a light swipe here and there between details. I try not to do that on the piano black console trim.
