Featured on BIMMERPOST.com What we are learning from Georg Karcher (a Journalist who has access to more information than most with the German manufacturers): - The new car, even with the AWD driveline, weighs 35kgs less than the previous version, or 1835 kg DIN or 4045 lbs. - 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 3.3 secs!

Thanks. I enjoyed the article and especially the review of previous generation M5s. Biased I am, but I agree about the E39 M5. I also agree about the E60 M5 above 5500 RPM at full throttle..."Epic" is an overused word, but defines that experience. Too bad you'd be in jail if you were to enjoy that sensation on the road much - which is the main reason I didn't buy one. Fun fact - the E60 is the only car I've driven where I could actually see the gas gauge needle go down...
