I think some people who are nostalgic about the M5's of old will find a viable option in the current M3: about the same size and power as the E39, the most revered M5. The current M5 competes in the category above, which is the sports limousine, whose buyer, who is older, maybe want more power, but also more refinement and ease of driving. That's why we have rubber mounted subframe, AWD, auto transmission and the likes.

It's all very well explaining at about these muscle cars but in all honesty those that want a high performance luxury car would react the same way.

At least FCA has the guts to produce a low volume/high impact cars such as the Demon. The result is everybody is talking about that car...

Agree. You know what real engineering is? Taking a 10-15 year old platform that weighs over 2 tons and transforming it into the fastest production car in human history! I give the SRT team serious kudos for their creativity and bravado (and BTW, they still offer a pure Tremec based manual).

Goodbye M4... hello big bro m5 without dct?.prob not getting carbon ceramics this time. The rear floating brakes don't justify the price tag anymore. Although I loved it on the m4

M135/40 235/40 and M2 sound better than every other hatchback or small coupe in the same segment with the exception of the old Focus RS and the current RS3 which also sound sweet. Pity they're gonna crap it up by going 4 cyl with next 1er. C43 drove past me the other day and I have to say I was surprised and v disappointed with notes I heard. |

Any new renderings in the works based on the clues from the idrive display? Front lip details shown also the lower side fender grill that carries over from g30. Also shows a silver upper fender grill that does not look at all like the f10 m5's upper fender grill
