Came across one of the camo cars the other day in Torrance. The driver must have thought I was crazy. He knew i was pacing him taking pictures.

Sat in a new Sebiner yesterday. I'm expecting the Funfer to be pretty much a scaled back version.... Maybe minus gesture control? And some of the other doo-dads like the massaging seats, backseat crap, etc?
I mean, when I got my F10, there was almost no difference in spec when you loaded it up except the size. Maybe on the 5 things that are standard on the 7 will be options, but you'll likely be able to add most back I am thinking? What do you mean by "reverse"? So far the evolution from the F10 seems to be pretty conservative, but we'll see. I'm most curious about the rear end because the F10 was always bland in my opinion.

The tail lights seem to be sharper than the f10, which is a good thing..the headlights on the other hand...hope theres still alot of camo in there, otherwise they look bigger than the X6's, lol.

In before someone posts that this is still early and interior and exterior design is not final and can change. No.
It's no longer a secret to what BMW/Mercedes/Audi along with the rest of the auto industry are doing. The 5er will closely resemble the G11 7er both exterior and interior. You don't need to speculate much anymore. I'm sure that there will be subtle/small detail changes like the taillights will likely follow the shape of the F10 and not the narrow ones we see on the 7er. The interior looks like it was taken out of the 7er - no surprises here. I think what we all want to know for the G30 are the technical specs - specifically the weight. As a car, there was nothing really wrong with the F10 other than you could feel the weight so interesting to see how much weight reduction the G30 is going to get. |

I hope so. The new C class interior kills the 3 series in terms of quality. The next generation 3er needs to step up its game considerably. The new rebadged VW A4 has also improved in the quality department.

Other than the headlights, it doesn't look that much different. I'm very curious to see what the M5 looks like. There may be a lot of tech changes, like the lightweight composite frame on the 7-series.

I'd be lying if I said that it looks bad because it doesn't. I'd also be lying if I said that I think it looks different enough over the F10.

I know you can't see much of it, but it looks so boring right now. I know in in the minority but I still love the e60 and think it's been one of the best looking 5 series. These new ones are just so dull and not aggressive at all.

Looks like it will be a smaller 7 series with pretty much the same idrive technology and less luxury.
Was hoping for more advancements in tech by next year. Better cluster, better idrive, etc...Not just gestures and some graphic makeup. I am obviously speaking too soon, but from the looks of it, I am not keeping my hopes up. |
