That's worse than a teaser. Might as well be the BMW car outline it uses in the PDC surround-view mode. LOL!

Jason Cammisa and Johnny Libermann are right, BMW has lost the plot. They are too focused on gadgetry and not focused on how the damn car looks and drives! I can't believe of all the things to focus on, their first teaser highlights an app that lets you see the car when it's parked. Really!?!?

I am one to enjoy technology in cars. But what's the point of this? Doesn't seem that useful

Could it be used in place of a dash cam i.e. somebody hits your car in the car park etc?

BMW is selling more cars than ever.

Yes, they suck from an enthusiasts viewpoint, but the shareholders don't care why you buy.

Off topic, but if you pause the video at 0:03 the rear looks exactly like paul-bracq-bmw's render

Well basically its the same thing that you have now in your car with 360 View, just now you can see it on your phone...

That is fine, but it is ridiculous that their first official trailer is about so insignificant thing that no one cares about, instead of focusing on the real core BMW values.

My impression , All it is is the top view being able to be accessed from your iPhone
Will you be able to use it as a recording device to document damage?

If the car has front, rear, and front side cameras then you would probably see more than their foot, and certainly could see their license plate if you park back-in.

Still wouldn't buy this car for this gizmo, it's not a decision factor.

BMW just wanted to be "first to market" with this feature.

Exactly the same review came to my mind. Pretty ridiculous. Hope the G30 isn't just a smaller 7er: an ugly pig with a lot of useless gizmos in it.

This would be really useful and better than having to wire in cameras!

I'd quite like to catch the careless ar*****es who dinged my g/f's car

Not to mention the numerous bast**** that have damaged my e90 over the past 4.5 years

Im struggling to understand how a teaser for a technology, gimmick or not, shows that BMW lost its plot...
