How would you describe the feel of a piggyback tune

For context, I have a 530e and don't envision doing any engine/exhaust mods, don't track, and I won't be using anything higher than 91 octane. I'm kind of over chasing more out of my car.

Though about buying a racechip S next time I'm in europe (it's not available in the US), but I expect that I'll get considerably less than the +33 advertised gain as I'll only be using a 91 map.

So if I get say a +20 HP or so, what does that feel like? Maybe about the same as the pull from going from Hybrid to Sport?

I'm quite familiar with the +20HP purported gains out of a CAI + Exhaust with my past cars. Would it feel about the same, or could I expect more from the piggyback? If not, I might just skip a piggyback and accept driving it stock.

Which model of your 530e? Pre-lci or LCI? Is your DME locked (and need Femto unlock)?

My 530e is LCI and I also did both JB4 (piggyback) and Bootmod3 with custom tune (did Femto unlock).

With JB4
Dyno : 360whp
Dragy 100-200kph : 13.38s

With Bootmod3 custom rom
Dyno : 435whp
Dragy 100-200kph : 10.30s

I haven't been looking at Bootmod as I have a 2021 LCI and the California smog tests would be a bit of a hassle. Thus I've been considering to go piggyback or leave it stock

You are probably not going to notice a 20hp difference

If piggyback, please go with JB4. It should increase 50hp at least.

20 hp will not make a difference, you can go with the higher end Racechip or the JB4 for more power
