The brake caliper design is different from present models. Still find it interesting that BMW opts to use fixed caliper for front and sliding caliper for rear in a car such as this.

I think they will reveal the car in a week at the M Festival.

Sounds like a safe bet. I guess private press reveal tomorrow followed up by public.

I'm hoping the actual car is better than what the renders show.

The front bumper reminds of a squished X5M bumper.

This.

It's quite sad that BMW had the opportunity to bring the M5 into the 2000s but instead chose not to.

It's probably too late to do anything about it at this point since the reveal/production is just around the corner and testing is in such late stages...shame...

When I read the headline I thought that it meant it had been dropping bits of crap all over the Nurburgring!

Except the UK as always

This is relevant to my interests.
Mine too. I passed on the F10 m5 for an E92 and F82. The G90 is high on my short since I now have a company car for work and will only own one personal car. Sadly, the F80/82 will not work for my needs hence my interest in the G90. BTW, how are you liking that 440 GC?

Yeah actually I am just interested to see what the final production version of the F90 is going to be like. I am most interested in seeing final curb(kerb) weight numbers. Other than that, I know they are only still rumors, but based on some very strong evidence, I assume that we will be seeing AWD, another version of the Twin Turbo Hot-V V8 from the last M5, and an Automatic ZF Transmission in the F90 M5. I think the move to AWD is a good move, but the use of the same engine and an Auto transmission is such a terrible let down for me personally. I probably will not be getting one, at least not until the LCi with the Competition Package comes out in like 3-4 years from now.

I have a 428i Gran Coupe and I do love it. I just wish they offered us Americans the 4-Series Gran Coupe with a Manual Transmission, then it would truly be a fun car for me. As I posted in another thread, I am planning on doing European Delivery in the all new Audi S5 Sportback (4-door) when the lease on my 428i GC is up.

I also have no intent on getting the F90 M5 because I am not done with my current F10 M5 in terms of making it something truly special. I have owned it now for almost 5 years and year after year it just keeps getting better, especially with all of the stuff I have done to it. I have something very monumental planned for my F10 M5, which I will be unveiling later this summer as well. I will just put it this way, once I am done with my current F10 M5, no F90 M5 will be able to touch it in either 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile roll race, or track lap times. However, the two things that I do envy on the next M5 already is it's planned Bowers and Wilkins Audio System and its standard Carbon Fiber roof.

I can't wait to see your F10 when you get done with the upgrades
