Hi

Does anyone know if there is any knock-on effect to the Driving Assistant Pro (5AU) if the vehicle doesn't have 360 cameras ?

From a parking perspective I'm not bothered about the 360 cameras. But just wondered if everything works as expected with drive assist pro ? Things like the visualisation of surrounding vehicles in the dash or anything else ?

I'm not sure what you mean by knock on effect but I do not have the 360 cameras (badly miss that feature) and use drive assist pro daily. Works just fine.

I think he's asking if there is an aftermarket 3D view that can be installed......maybe.

I have it and it is awesome. Favorite feature is being able to 3D view my car while its parked and see who is about to door ding me. Backing out of spaces is amazing. You get a 3D overview of everything.....amost like a drone shot.

I dont know if there is an aftermarket / knockoff version, but the factory is awesome. Probably my favorite feature on my car. Backing out of spaces is so much easier. It gives you a 3D overhead shot showing you everything in real time so you dont accidently run over mating turtles.

I have installed aftermarket 360 for my 2022 530e, it works well. More customizable than stock one.

I have 360 from the factory, but the more customization sounds interesting.

I have a 2022 530e w/o 360 cameras (not by choice), but do have Driving Assistant Pro. Adjacent vehicle visulation in the instrument cluster works as expected.

My understanding is that the 360 cameras are for the parking aspect rather than any safety benefits the assistant pro brings.

No I wasn't asking for a knock off 360 or even an after market. 😃

Simply trying to understand if there was any impact on any of the drive assist pro features by not having 360 (I'm not too concerned about the parking aspect) but it would seem not
