if this ends like the whole merc's new lineup fuckery, boy oh boy...
the new mercs look decent i'll be honest, but especially with the release of the new E class its just too similar. they did the same thing with the 2 previous gens too, the W220 was sized down to the W210 e class and W203 with some changes, at least with the fascias. with the new they look completely same, just as if you washed the car with too hot water. i'm sure it'll be a nice car but id hate to see it like a baby 7. the current one at least looks different, but from these camos the front=g11 front. dont get me wrong, i find the car beautiful, its just that it seems lazy and soulless to reproduce the same design on the lineup... |

Looks like a copy of itself with minor changes in exterior/interior, just like the new 7 came out.

I'm very happy to see that the kidneys looks healthy here and not like the ginormous bloated versions in many renders. The car looks rather good in these pix I think. Good base for an M5

I can't say that I'm excited about this car.
From the outside it looks like a smaller version of the new 7 series, which means that it'll look nice but it won't be an eye catcher. Nothing original, way too conservative... And the interior looks like it's going to be similar to the new 7 series as well. Simple and elegant, yet nothing original... The new Mercedes E-Klasse is also very conservative from the outside. It just looks like a grown up C-Klasse or a shrunken S-Klasse, nothing special. But man that interior on the new E-Klasse, just phenomenal! I mean just look at it: Stunningly beautiful, those two giant screens are a huge wow factor. The choices you can make for the trim, seats and interior color are endless, and the led interior lighting has 65 color modes! I think I'll buy my first Mercedes instead of the new 5 series. I know that it won't be as fun to drive as a BMW, but I really don't care anymore. I'm getting old, I don't drift as I used to

F10 production ends in October, so most likely late Winter/early Spring 2017 in the U.S.

Hey guys, I am new here. I am actually a big fan of BMW E90 and F30 and they actually brought me to the forum. They opened my eyes for the BMW world.
But I got a magazine last week with some photos of the next BMW 5 series and I wanted to share them with you if you don't mind. Click here for the photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tasnlg9tr...cZnHt7nea?dl=0 |

Am I the only one that feels that BMW finally achieved perfection, aesthetically, with the F10? It is the perfect balance of conservative, aggressive, and sporty. I'm disappointed that they'll be making so many changes to it, inside and out.

Inside, I prefer the new look with the floating iDrive screen, etc. I loved my F10 but there were a lot of small details that disappointed me. |

April 4, 2016 Update
The G30 5 Series M Sport model has dropped lots of front end camouflage to reveal its M Sport front bumper. The M Sport side skirts and rear bumper/diffuser remain under camouflage, but it's clear that they are sportier than those on the standard G30 models. We also get a first look at the M Sport interior with its M Sport steering wheel. We also see a new M Sport wheel design on this prototype.
